Divorce & Dissolution Fees
We know that dealing with family law matters can be challenging. Our aim is to give you clarity from the outset so you can focus on what matters most.
The information below is designed to help you estimate the likely costs involved. We will always provide you with an estimate at the outset based on the information you give us. However, we may need to revise the original estimate if the matter is more complex than first anticipated or if additional factors arise. We will keep you informed about progress, as well as any variation in fees or additional charges that may occur. All of our solicitor fees attract VAT at the current rate.
After your initial consultation, if you choose to instruct us and your case remains uncontested (and no personal or deemed service is required), our standard fees are:
£500 — if you are the applicant.
£300 — if your spouse is the applicant and the matter remains uncontested.
There is also a court fee of £612 for issuing a divorce application.
Terms and conditions apply — These fees are applicable in uncomplicated, uncontested cases only. If your situation changes (such as becoming contested, requiring service, or involving jurisdiction issues, children’s arrangements, or complex finances), we will explain any additional costs before moving forward.
